A wonderful friend of mine said, You should start a blog. Me? Why the heck would anyone want to follow a blog by me? She said all the ones interested in your journey with Zumba, Weight loss, etc. I said well who would that be? All those people that congrats you or that are starting Zumba now because of your posts. Ohh... Maybe then?
So we will see LOL. What better day to start this then a Zumba night! Woot Woot!
I am very new to this blog thing so be gentle with me.
Wednesday I announced I did in fact lose that one pesky pound that was holding me from my goal. I am down to 160, which 46 pounds lost! I am down from an 18w to a Size 10, and those size 10's aren't very tight :). I know I have lost alot of inches, just don't know how many as I lost my start numbers.
I am off my high cholesterol meds, I am off my Fibromyalgia Meds. I am dealing with my major Anxiety Issues way better. ( Still have days but always will ). I am way more upbeat, bouncy & smiling ( like I used to be for those that haven't seen me in years ). I don't sit around the house trying to tell myself to get up to do this or that. I still have my Flares, My soreness & sleep issues, but no where near like I did. Big one also, I don't have headaches all the time. It was getting to the point where 6 out of 7 days I had headaches & at least once a week a migraine. Now, my migraines are maybe once a month or 6 weeks. And headaches are very rare. I feel on top of the world most times, and so thankful that I finally said enough, what is this Zumba all about!
Zumba Addiction is really the only way to describe it, however this is one addiction that should catch on more not less. Zumba gives you somewhere to go, people that want you there, that miss you if you are gone. Zumba gives you new friends looking for the same things as you. Zumba lets you meet knew people, go to new places & experience new things. Zumba gives you confidence you couldn't find before. Zumba helps you find your smile you might have been missing. Zumba, helps you lose weight, get healthy, get in shape & most of all. ZUMBA MAKES YOU HAVE FUN!
I look back now at almost 7 months. I have been to 3 Zumbathons, 2 Master Classes, 1 Jam Class, Did two Demo's, Zumba'ed in NYC on Today Show, Going tomorrow To Zumba in Pittsburgh with Beto & Crew. I have met so many wonderful people & tried so many things. I am so thankful.
So many people have said you are an inspiration. I would look around, Who? Me? No way. But, the more I am told, the more I smile! I hope I can inspire someone for any of the above reasons to get out there & try it! So I will try out this blog of my day to day Zumba life & hope that more people get inspired to go & try it! You won't regret it!
